I enjoy these doors. We stayed in an Air B&B that had a mysterious door which was blocked. It still has me curiously questioning where it led? Your doors always bring a bit of curiosity as well. Thank you for sharing.

Focusing specifically on open doors is such a fun spin on Thursday Doors! As Lynette d’Arty-Cross and Dan Antion noted in the comments, the contrast between a warm pub entrance at Hillsborough and a historic prison doorway at Fremantle is so cool. Stepping into Hillsborough for a pint definitely sounds like the winning move!”

Wonderful theme, Wayne..Open doors offer a different vibe which I enjoy. I love the reflection in number 1.

is the freemantle one leading to the. prison? if yes, i’ve been there, pretty sad and creepy

It actually wasn’t at the prison site but a little further away. It was where the convicts would go when they first arrived before being taken to the prison (if my memory serves me right) 🙂

I am torn between numbers three and five, Wayne. Both interesting, and quite different. I think I’d have to step into Hillsborough for a pint to sort things out.

Thanks Lynette. It’s funny how the doors come from completely different backgrounds. One is the entrance to the pub and another is an entrance to a prison.
