Hi everyone. I am a man from Northern Ireland who had a dream of living in Australia since travelling here in 2009 on a working holiday visa. Now I am fortunate enough to live here and call Sydney my home. An example that if you work hard and remain focused on your life goals, they really can be achieved. I love to travel, as do millions of other people but hopefully you will find the places I visit of interest, whether it be here in Australia or other places close by. I have started blogging since arriving back Down Under in 2017 as it has always been a passion of mine to share my experiences and keep friends and family up to date with what’s going on in my world. If you find that I maybe haven’t written a new blog for some time, it is usually because I am lying low, working hard as a nurse and saving for the next adventure. How it’s going now (updated February 2023)
After having lived in Sydney for five years and living through covid, it was time to return home to Northern Ireland. It had been three years since we had visited home and seen our loved ones in the flesh. Join me as I transition from a life Down Under to living back home and see whether I will manage to settle again or if/when I return to Australia.
