Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I am showing a few electrical boxes that I spotted in Launceston, Tasmania. As you are maybe aware, I have posted many of these before as I truly love how people take the time and effort to paint and decorate these, plus they need to have a door so technically they fit in this challenge. As always, please do let me know if there is one particular one that stand out for you.
Ps. Can you name the animal on photo number two?

Wow, I read your answer, aardvark, and had to look up photos. I was way off. I thought it was a snail.

That’s funny but I can see where you’re coming from.

I know, right? I was about to say it, but then I checked the other comments and saw you’d already answered it.

I love…love street art, and this theme of decorated utility boxes is one of my absolute favorites. I love the perspective you chose for each box, giving a little glimpse of the artwork in the context of its nearby surroundings. Thank you for that.

I love that cities are now painting these electrical boxes and adding some vibrant color to urban settings.
I think the parrot is my favorite. I love the tropical colors.

Me too Richard. It’s such a good idea.

Decorating those electrical boxes is such a neat idea and makes something colourful that would otherwise look boring.

Such a great idea to paint these and turn them into street art

Totally agree Sheree. I always wonder who does the painting.

Is it a praying mantis (which isn’t an animal but the illustration does look more bug-like)? I think I like three the best. 😊 Cheers.

I can see where you are coming from Lynette but apparently it’s an aardvark.
