Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I am showing some of my remaining doors from our trip to Launceston, Tasmania at the beginning of the year. As always, let me know if you have a stand out door this week.
I really love all these doors but if I have to choose, I will go with number two. It’s a beautiful looking door with a lovely colour, stunning windows, striking tiles leading up to the door and I love the design above the door. What do you think it is? To me it looks like a grasshopper’s face!
I love the olive green colour of door #3, Wayne. But door #2 has the advantage with that big pane of glass and the glass panels above it. It looks almost Art Deco. I wonder if it is from that era?

Thank you Hugh. I think the door may be from the Victorian ages. The cottage itself is heritage listed from that time although the door itself may have been changed at one stage.

It probably has been, Wayne, if the building is that old. Although modern doors can probably prove us wrong now.

Wonderful gallery, Wayne. I love number two. The artwork on the glass panes near the ceiling tie in with the ornate elegance of the space. The door is superb. Great share! Thank you.

I had already chosen #2, but I had to go back and give a second look at the transom window. I think you’re right, it does look like a grasshopper’s face. I do like the black bow on the yellow door, but that shop entrance is simply beautiful.

Nice to see different doors, and I like # 1 best. The yellow color, even on a simple looking door, is very cheerful and the little bow just is a bit of whimsy that makes me smile. 🙂

Number 1 definitely pops on the screen, but I think I like Number 3 the most. Love the contrast in colors and the cottage feel.
