Happy Thursday from a very cold and snowy Northern Ireland. We are into our first week of spring here, so of course that means snow here! Without fail, we become excited when winter is over, only to be hit with a cold front. This happens year in year out, with the possibility of this right up until April and even May. I’m not sure why we are always surprised by this!!
For this reason, my doors for this week aim to brighten up your day or even week as I pick out some of my most colourful doors from my archive. Please let me know if you have a favourite.

I’m finding it difficult to choose a favourite but I really do love the yellow door from Carlingford. The colour and design of the door, fitting snugly into the brick wall just oozes quaintness overload for me. I hope these doors add a little colour to your week. Enjoy your day everyone.

A fantastic collection, including a rainbow door! My fave is number four. What would you call the colour? Scarlet?

Ah thank you Lov! I love bright colours. I think number four would be cerise pink.

You gave us a tough assignment today, Wayne, as you have lots of doors I really like. The first one really grabbed my attention with its subtle but wonderful details on the door. #3 is all a bit too much for me but I really like the deli door (and building) and the shabby but lovely blue door. That’s my answer and I’m sticking to it! 🙂

Lovely bright doors but my favourite has to be the first one, where the wall is brighter than the door

Sorry abut your weather, Wayne. We go through the same drill here in most years. You certainly didn’t make it easy to pick a favorite today. I wrote down and scratched out five. Although they are all good, I like the weathered wooden door at 7 – Newcastle, NI. Thanks for giving us some color to help push winter out.

Amazing Dan thanks for the feedback. I love that weathered door too, it has a certain charm. I’m ok with the weather really, just hope I can drive to work tomorrow 🙈🙏🏼

I’m glad not to have that worry anymore. That used to be my biggest concern. That and what time I’d have to get up to clear the driveway before leaving.

I love your collection of Northern Ireland doors but I believe my favorite today is the standout electric pink door on the green building. So bright and happy!
