Thank you Di for this week’s questions.
1. Do you enjoy shopping? (food, clothes, shoes etc).
No, I actually really dislike shopping. I need to be in the mood and I have a very short window. Food shopping I can do as that’s a necessity but I definitely don’t do shopping for enjoyment.
2. What is something you used to buy often but either buy less or no longer buy at all?
Clothing. I can’t remember the last time I bought a new item of clothing. I think my priorities have changed or maybe I have nowhere to show them off.
3. Food shopping only: do you prefer to shop in person or on-line?
In person, only because it’s what I’m used to. I did try online shopping a couple of times but I found it frustrating when items weren’t there and they would be substituted without you knowing.
4. Do you use charity shops (I believe this is Goodwill for my American readers), car boot sales or village hall / church hall sales (which I remember as jumble sales).
Yes we use charity shops a lot. The quality of clothing is so good these days and I don’t see the point of always buying new items when there are so many clothes available out there. Many charity stores are now classed as vintage or boutique and you can really obtain a good find.
Gratitude: To have survived Monday and hopefully today too.
Thanks for joining in Wayne and sharing your world.
When I visited Bro in NZ, my SIL introduced me to the Two Dollar shops, which was a mix of second hand items and souvenirs. I had a lot of fun digging around in those!
Have a good week.

I’m also an in-person shopper. I like to actually see and touch what I’m going to buy. Too often, what you see online isn’t what you end up getting.

i’m not a huge shopper either, don’t like going to malls, and i do to stand alone stores and do love the charity shops, as i can find some very interesting pieces there and they’re a great price,

Shopping isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Charity shops are a good option as they help others by buying there.
