Thank you Di for this week’s questions.
1. Do you prefer a carnival or a circus?
I do LOVE a carnival but we don’t see them too much where we are, either here in Australia or back home in Ireland. I did used to love a circus, the tent, the atmosphere etc, however, now I feel so terrible for the animals that I don’t think I could attend a circus today.
2. What is your favourite circus act?
I love the trapeze artists, it’s amazing what they can do (and no animals are involved).
3. When was the last time you attended a funfair?
3 years ago in the south of England with my niece and nephew around Christmas time. It was freezing but we had a fantastic time, very festive and we were able to toast our own marshmallows.
4. What is your favourite ride/stall?
I’m a sucker for a ferris wheel. Slow and steady with breathtaking views.
Gratitude – as always, thankfully, surviving Monday and Tuesday at work.

Not crazy about either TBH

Thanks for joining in Wayne. We have a circus in town now, but no animals. Our carnival is set for September so we hope it goes ahead this year.

I agree about the circus.

I used to love the circus as a child and would go see the Barnum & Baily Circus when it came to our city every year. Of course, I was too young to understand the negative aspects with the animals.
Nowadays, I prefer carnivals and all the rides, but for real fun I like rollercoasters at amusement parks. The faster the better! 🙂

Oh I’m not sure about the rollercoasters Richard haha. I have been on a fair few and the adrenaline rush is fun but my stomach doesn’t think the same 🤒

I’m okay with carnivals but not circuses. Many countries are either banning or phasing them out.
