Thank you Di for this week’s questions.
1. I’ve been receiving notifications of Achievements and recently Classic Material which I neither want or signed up for. Do you think such notifications are necessary or have you switched them off?
Oh I love receiving these notifications. They’re a bit of fun and it’s nice to see how you’re progressing.

2. With the recent hot weather, it seems to bring out the worst in us drivers. Have you been a victim of road rage?
Yes I believe so. In Northern Ireland, if the traffic light turns amber, you slow down and stop. However, in Sydney, it seems to be the opposite, if the light turns amber, you speed up before it turns red. Well I wasn’t aware of this so when the traffic light turned amber I slowed down and stopped, much to the fury of the man behind me. He was ranting and raving whilst we were waiting for an eternity for the lights to change. Then when the light finally turned green, he sped up beside me and gave me more abuse, thankfully I couldn’t hear him through the windows but I felt terrible as well as very intimidated. It was an awful feeling and I’m sure his fury couldn’t have been good for his blood pressure!
3. In hot weather, what would you prefer: a paddle in the sea, dangling your feet in a pool, or staying as much as possible ion the shade?
A paddle in the pool sounds delightful.
4. On a hot day, what do you find most refreshing: a hot drink (tea or coffee), an ice cold glass of lemonade, a cold beer, or ice cream.
Oh a cold beer would be the ticket or an aperol spritz.
Gratitude:
I survived today teaching the school kids!
Congratulations on surviving the school kids! Here, amber means to “clear the intersection”
not speed up to try to make it through. I looked up the amber light function for Australia and it actually means the same as here. It’s unfortunate that you had a nutbar throwing a juvenile temper tantrum because you followed the law. Try not to let those idiots bother you. As to my favourite hot weather drink, that would be cold water or beer. It gets very hot here with 40 at the end of July not unusual, so a cold beer? Heaven! And I’ve turned off those notifications. Cheers.

Thank you so much Lynette and that’s good to know about the laws here. I love your adjective for this guy, nutbar 😝
