Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I am showing a few doors from a suburb that I have shared a few times now, Surry Hills.
Surry Hills is one of Sydney’s most vibrant inner-city neighbourhoods, known for its creative edge, café culture, and beautifully preserved terrace houses. I could literally walk around here all day, where the doors just seem to jump out at you and wish to be photographed. It would be rude not to!
As always, please let me know if you have a favourite this week.

I love the detail of number 5 but I think number 4 has to be my favourite this week simply for its cheery colour. There’s something about a yellow door that always makes me smile, it just looks like a happy place.
I like 2 with the flowers and the door in the wall…it’s interesting. They are all lovely doors though.

Yes the flowers are beautiful with the door. Thank you Jean!

I’m going to agree with your choice, Wayne. That yellow really pops and looks great against the green and grey.
But I have to admit, each one is wonderfully unique. There’s probably a great story behind each one.

Cheers Richard! I agree about every one having a great story. We have no idea who lives behind these doors or its history.
