Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I have the pleasure to show case some doors from a quirky little bohemian suburb in Sydney’s inner west, known as Newtown. Let me know if one stands out for you this week.

I absolutely love number four with its old school rustic charm and the decorations in the panel really set it off. I can’t help but think of Mexico because of the cactus 🌵. I wonder who lives behind this door? A lover of tacos maybe?
Love that last door and how the colour really stands out

When giving directions to your home, I am pretty sure the cactus window covering would help your location stand out. 😉 Too cute!

2 and 5. I love a coloured door, but I’ve never had one, and I’m not sure I want one, but I love that others do. 😊 Maggie

Wonderful photography, Wayne. I like the tree trunk you framed in with door number 1. My favorite is number three. I love the sense of symmetry I feel from the attention given to the facade’s details.

Wonderful collection, Wayne. I see what you mean about door #4, but #5 is the one that caught my eye. Love the magenta and the doorknob in the center. Sort of eclectic!

I’m partial to library doors, and I love that little balcony over the entrance in number 3, but I was immediately drawn to those glass panels in number 4. I’m going with that. I like how the glass is rounded at the top, matching the arched entrance.

Thanks Tanja. I love number 2 also as I think it is designed for the Lunar New Year 🧧

That’s a lovely selection but I think I like number 5 best.

Oh thanks Lynette! I was torn with number five as it’s very striking and not often you see a pink door.
