Doors of WordPress V165

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. I am still showcasing some doors from one of my favourite suburbs in Sydney, Newtown. Let me know if you have a fave this week.

My favourite this week has to be number 4, even though I love how number 2 looks like a face in shock and number 5 has two doors for the price of one. Number 4 reminds me of an Old West saloon door reimagined through South Asian or Chinese decorative craftsmanship, it has that cowboy meets Shanghai look for me, almost like Asian fusion.

I feel like it is cinematic, the kind of door in a fantasy film where you’re not sure whether behind it is a saloon, a hidden gambling den, or a portal to another world. I think it’s actually a bar, which you can see from the writing on the side of the door. The Baby Dragon Bar, described as a “mystical island paradise” and “dragon’s lair”. I feel like I need to visit here one day!

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I am showing some more really cool doors from the trendy suburb of Newtown and I love that some of the doors are surrounded by street art. Please let me know if you have a favourite this week.

I actually don’t think I can pick one this week as I love them all, however, I would say that number three would be my least favourite. I enjoy the door but it was the Australian artwork that really captivated me, absolutely stunning. Imagine having that surrounding your front door!

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I have the pleasure to show case some doors from a quirky little bohemian suburb in Sydney’s inner west, known as Newtown. Let me know if one stands out for you this week.

I absolutely love number four with its old school rustic charm and the decorations in the panel really set it off. I can’t help but think of Mexico because of the cactus 🌵. I wonder who lives behind this door? A lover of tacos maybe?
