  2. I went to the Arts Centre in Salisbury the other night. I happened to mention how nice the venue was to my mate at breakfast this morning. A retired quantity surveyor, he simply replied, “I’m glad you think so. I designed it.”

    1. Oh wow how cool is that?! I would love to have met Frank Matcham, he was the most prolific and influential theatre architect of the late Victorian and Edwardian eras and was the genius behind the Grand Opera House in Belfast.
