Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I am showcasing a few doors from the suburb next to us called Caringbah. We went for a walk here on Sunday looking for a popular board walk. The good news is that we went for a walk and got our steps completed, the bad news is that we took a wrong turn and totally missed the boardwalk. Ah well. We will have to try again at a later stage. It wasn’t all bad though as I was able to spot these beautiful houses with fantastic doors and we managed to stumble across a brewery that we had frequented before. It does the best creaming soda ale I have ever tasted. Ok, so it’s the only creaming soda ale I have ever tasted but it is absolutely delicious.
As always, let me know if you have a favourite this week.

I favor #3 but most of all that blue sky. It must have been a beautiful day. And I think it was very good of you to not be rude and take some ale home.

Sometimes a wrong turn is a good thing, as in the case of these wonderful doors you discovered, Wayne. It’s hard for me to choose between number three and number four. But number four is such a unique experience in materials woven together, from the corrugated sheet metal roofing to the beautiful wrought iron door. I love it. Great photos!

Thanks very much Suzette! I agree with all the things you have said for number four and you’re right, sometimes a wrong turn is a great thing.

I’m liking # 1 best as it has a nice tidy look and color, and even the towels hanging on the railing match the house color. 🙂

Number 4 is my favorite out of this bunch. It looks like artistic spiderwebs!

I love it when a wrong turn leads to a nice surprise. Delicious ale, several cool doors and it looked like you had a beautiful day.
Number two is also my favorite. I can’t tell what the shapes are, but I like the details on the steps and landing.
I hope you have a great weekend.

Cheers Dan. I love the detail also but to be honest I didn’t even notice. I love how you always spot the right intricate details.

I like number 1 as well. I can’t remember the last time I was in Caringbah or why. Maybe a stop on the way to Cronulla Beach 🤔
