Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I thought it was about time to show some local doors again from Sydney as it has been a while. Even though I live outside of Sydney, I still work in the city a couple of days a week so I am delighted to be able to keep discovering new doors there. I still have a good few from Ireland and England but will keep those in my collection for a rainy day.

I love the first door from Coogee. It’s an old classic with a rather interesting bill board in the left hand corner of the photo! Fortunately, it’s an advert for a brand of wine here in Australia but actually made in France. According to Time magazine, it is a wine for the anti snob…and I happen to know it’s actually not a bad drop.
To be honest I love the first four doors, especially the homes in pictures two and three. The last door isn’t overly special or easy to spot but I loved the colour and character of the building, even the house number is pretty retro.

Thank your for the wonderful doors, lovely photos. I am drawn to the first door and the blue door, number four…both are special in style, height and seem narrower than most doors almost like shop/storefront doors, pretty cool. Great share! Thank you!

🌟 I love the idea of showcasing local doors! Sydney must have some really cool ones. It’s neat that you get to explore the city while working there. Can’t wait to see what you find! And saving the doors from Ireland and England for a rainy day sounds like a perfect plan! What’s been your favorite door discovery so far?

I guess if I had to pick it would be #3. love the classic look of it and the
replication of the roof and the top one having the large window in it, plus the steps leading up to a big door and the pillars on the bottom.

It does actually. It’s a very Greek neighbourhood but not sure who lives there.

I love an interesting door, especially when it fits the overall design of the building or adds a nice quirky vibe. I do like the first one you have here, mainly because of the colour!
