What snack would you eat right now?

A banana! Which I will be eating in about 15 minutes. It’s 0540 here in Sydney and I’m on my way to work via the light rail (tram). I always have a banana before I start work, it really keeps me going for a couple of hours before I have breakfast. Without it, I’m a mess. I don’t think I could eat anything else right now. How about you?

  1. Well at least you’re getting a dose of potassium, which most people need. Use to love bananas, still do but can’t eat them because they don’t agree with me. as it is 1:01 pm here, I could go for a block or two of dark chocolate. Can’t eat more than that or it bothers me. But I do enjoy it.

  2. To me “snack” means something outside of the normal three meals – breakfast, lunch, dinner. I have been known to eat “anything” for a snack in the past. Usually something quick and easy (and fattening) – cookies, crackers, piece of pie, bowl of jello, sometime fruit. However, for a short while, I am attempting to eat more healthy, so my “go to” snack is either 150 calorie bag of mixed nuts or a 75 calorie bag of 2 cups of Skinny Pop popcorn. I buy the larger portion bags, but actually pack them into baggies so that I minimize overindulging.
