Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another wonderful week of doors. This week in Northern Ireland the sun is out in full force. We are having the long overdue heatwave, promised to us a couple of months ago. As usual, it has happened just as the kids have returned to school (sad for them). However, never fear, our heatwaves only last for a few days before the cold and wet weather makes a return. As the weather has been lifting everyone’s spirits here, I felt compelled to show some colourful doors this week to fit in with the Irish weather. As always, please let me know, if you have a favourite this week.

My absolute favourite has to be number 4. I really loved this door from Dijon and was probably my favourite door from my whole trip there. I don’t think I have ever seen a door this colour before and it looks very rustic and quaint to me. I also love the design of where the window used to be, very chic. What do you think?
Thanks for reading everyone,
Wayne ✌🏽
I like the 5th door. I like how beautifully it is made with the roof on top and the side walls. The color looks appealing too. Strangford is the best for me.

I have to say I really like that yellow door. The blue trim sets it off beautifully. (K)

Ah thank you! I really like it too, I just worry it would get too much to see it every day 😂

I love all of them for different reasons. But, they all have one commonality for me …….. they are doors that I’ll likely never see in person. I love them all the same! ❤

Love them all as always, Wayne. I would love to go in the news agents store. It looks like Kevin sells a little bit of everything including plants. As far as my favorite door it’s #2 just because the yellow flowers look so beautiful on the blue. We will be on another road trip for the next ten days or so and won’t be responding to many messages, but I will catch up with you when we return. Have a great weekend.

I had two choices, but I do like just for the cheerfulness, the first one with all the glass and the bright green colors, but for a door I would pick #2 Hillsboro, I like the white wood with the off color cement bocks around it and I love the spiderweb transom above but the dark blue of the door is really shown off with the yellow flowers. Very well laid out and pretty.

Thank you! I agree number 2 is a lovely door and the flowers just make it. I also loved number 1 for the fun of it and the shop attached is amazing.

I think I like them all in different ways this week and I’m not choosing. 🙂 I hope you’ve been enjoying the Wyoming photos. There will be more.

Kind of like 2…with the fancy window over the top and the blue door with yellow flowers. I actually was the weird child who was happy enough to go to school…not a fan of math and science (math involved) so much, but did OK. Huge fan of English and history.

Thanks Jean! Number 2 ise very regal looking. I loved English and disliked math also.

Got the times tables drilled into my head, but can’t do math unless paper and pencil or finger counting 😀

As usual, you’ve made it hard. I like the order I see in number 3 – Edinburgh. I’m not wild about the color, but I like the stone work around the door.

Thanks Dan! The stone work is pretty cool and that transom window looks like a spider’s web.

And the window almost lines up with the stone work. Not quite enough to satisfy my OCD tenancies, but it’s a good look 😉

Well spotted Dan! Yes that could be hard to look at all the time 😂

I like the yellow door best this time. Those purple flowers just made the yellow stand out even better. 🙂

Yes that’s actually so true and I hadn’t really thought of that. Thank you 😊

I was also bouncing between 4 and 5. If I had to pick, 4 I like the window 🙂

Wayne, I too like door number four. The color is interesting but the yellow of the door against the blue building in number five catches my eye also.
