Hi everyone and a very happy Thursday to you all. The sun is shining here in Northern Ireland after some horrendous stormy weather yesterday. I have been pretty quiet here in the blogging realm for a few weeks due to some family circumstances but I thought today would be as good a day as any to make a return, plus I love creating doors posts on a Thursday so it’s perfect timing.
I hope you have all been keeping well and adjusting to these seasonal changes wherever in the world you might be. I have been trying to keep an eye on other people’s blogs, as a means to stay in tune with what’s happening here but also for some light reading as a welcome distraction.
I hope you enjoy my selection of local doors from around Northern Ireland and please let me know if you have a favourite.

My personal favourite is number five. I love the colour of the door, the glass panels on either side, the arch around the door, the wreath on the door, I could go on and on and on. I just love this one. How about you?
Thanks so much for reading and taking a look.
All the best,
Wayne ✌🏽
I like the yellow door best. I hope things are going better for you

#4 is my favorite. I like that the fence is the same color as the door. Gives it a little extra kick.

Lovely to see you back.. 5 is certainly a stunning door… But for me 4 just pips it.. Surrounded by trees is my kind of door… 🙏🏻😎

I cant decide between 3 and 4 so I will choose both 😁. Have you ever had anyone ask you why your taking a picture of their door? I’m asking because I recently took a picture of a house I really like and the whole time I was worried the residents would come out and yell at me lol.

Ah thank you! Do you know what, I think about that all the time. Thankfully I have never experienced that yet but I am pretty quick with my camera. I always think if someone was to ask me why, I would explain I’m a blogger and simply love their door. I’m hoping they would be happy with that, or maybe flattered but who actually knows 🙈. Great question! 😊

Can I have three favorites? I like number 5 for the reasons you mention., I also like number 1 – Finaghy. I like the pop of color from that yellow door and what I think it would look like if they cleaned those pillars. Number 4, Malone Road, South Belfast is my favorite photo. I love the composition of the green door in an almost forest-like setting.
It’s good to have you back. I hope you and your family are doing well.

Thank you Dan for your feedback. I agree with the Malone Road door, the setting is really intriguing. Family getting there, slowly but surely thanks 🙏🏼

For sheer symmetry I go with number 5. Its beautiful. Perfect layout including the big cement
steps leading up to the door.
