Doors of WordPress V176

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I am showing a few doors from another lovely little village in Northern Ireland known as Comber. As always, let me know if you have a stand out door this week.

I have to say I really love 1 and 2, great colour, shape and I admire the brick door frame. What a great street to live on and it’s right in the middle of the village.

  1. This is a very nice collection of beautiful doors, especially the last one, wonderfully framed by the glossy, green or variegated leaves. I’ve never been to Comber, so I have to look it up. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

  2. I’m going for number 4. I mean, look at that old knocker and mailbox; they complement the door as much as the door complements them. Plus, it looks like the door opens up as a stable door. You don’t see many of those unless you are on a farm.

    1. Thanks very much Hugh. I do love the colour of green for this door and the fact it’s a stable door makes it even more attractive. You’re right in saying we don’t see those too often now unless on a farm.

  3. The blue door in photo 3 really pops and is a lovely shade, but I think the green door in the 4th photo is my favorite. I love the way you framed the photo, how it’s offset with the green pipe, the little wildflowers framing it…just feels cozy.

  4. A very nice collection, Wayne. I’m going to join you in choosing doors 1 & 2. I like seeing doors that open onto a hill. This one isn’t too steep, but it’s still interesting. I like the way the doors are framed, and I love that the window mimics the upper windows in the house.
