Thank you Di for this week’s questions.
1. What’s your favourite pizza topping?
I love chicken and peppers on a pizza but to be honest I would eat most toppings., I even love the controversial ham and pineapple.
2. What is your favourite sandwich?
A club sandwich…and it has to be the traditional one, a triple-layer sandwich made with toasted bread, filled with chicken, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise (sometimes even a chopped up boiled egg). They’re filling, delicious and a little decadent.
3. What is your favourite dessert?
Banoffee Pie!
4. What food do you absolutely hate or would never try?
I really don’t like celery or coriander but I would eat it if I had to. I would not want to try turtle, I was offered it once but just couldn’t do it, the guilt would be next level.
Gratitude: As always, to have survived Monday and Tuesday after a hectic couple of days.

what is Banoffee Pie? Pizza is good no matter what, right? celery is ok, but coconut is one thing I don’t eat because of the texture.

Thanks Heidi, Banoffee pie is a dessert made with a biscuit base, layers of caramel (toffee) and sliced bananas, topped with whipped cream. It is extremely tasty!

Banoffee pie is a dessert originating in the UK in the seventies. It has a biscuit base, layers of caramel (toffee) and sliced bananas, topped with whipped cream.

It’s a great way to use up your bananas if they’re starting to go brown.

Club sandwich is always a winner because it has a little bit of everything (I like peppers on mine to give it a little something special). 🙂
And thanks to you, I’ll be thinking of Banoffee Pie all day! 🤣

Ham and pineapple are delicious together. 😊 And a clubhouse sandwich (yes, the original version) is a wonderful sandwich. I don’t care much for celery, either. We have some similar tastes going on and would probably enjoy a meal together. 😊 Cheers.
