What makes you nervous?
It is not simply the speaking itself, it is the moment before and leading up to the event. The overthinking, the awareness of every eye in the room, the pressure to get it right. Your heart picks up, your mind races, and suddenly what you know well feels just out of reach.
I have to say I am getting better though, teaching in front of a room of students every day has definitely helped.

This is so sad. It’s my favorite thing!

I love speaking
I get excited at any opportunity to speak because it forces me to actually study to understand and I love learning new things
but I still get scared of speaking, so I outprepare my fear and it gets easier

Oh I love to speak too, just not in front of a group of people. It definitely gets easier the more you do it. Thanks Mohammad.
