Doors of WordPress V157

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. This week I am showing a few doors from another cool suburb in Sydney, known as Enmore, just beside Newtown that I have showcased the last couple of weeks. As always, please let me know if one stands out for you.

Although I have been extremely busy the past few weeks and blogging has had to take a back seat, it’s comforting to always be able to create a doors post at least to keep me in the blogging loop.

I absolutely love doors 3, 4 and 5 for their design and popping colours, however number 5 is my chosen door this week, I think the fact it’s on London Street makes it stand out that bit more with an old world charm and sense of identity. I also love its decorative glass, elegant arch and the shade of blue that makes this door welcoming and a little bit Mediterranean.

    1. Thanks Hugh, it’s a very cheerful looking door and I’m sure it would be guaranteed to put you in a good mood. I smiled even when you said it would make you smile every time. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Wonderful gallery of doors, Wayne. I like number 2 and its attention to detail, even the frame around the screen door is in matching color paint to the door and the lovely wrought iron railing. Having said that, I am always partial to well-worn doors like number 3!

  2. Another great set of doors. I was attracted to #2. Love the colour and the window over the door. They’re all lovely though.

  3. You found a great group. I love that first door, but I think the bright colors might wear thin after awhile of coming home to it. I like both doors with the arch and partial arch molding, but I prefer blue, so I’ll go with number two.

  4. I have to go with #1, just because it’s so colorful and eccentric! However, #3 also caught my eye…it made me think there may be magic hidden behind it. 🙂

    Wonderful selection, Wayne. Cheers!

    1. Cheers Richard. I love that you used the word eccentric, that’s exactly what it is. I was thinking if I owned this house, how fun it would be to have guests over and see their reaction every time. I agree that number three has something magical about it, like a secret garden or something.
