Are you holding a grudge? About?
The simple answer is no, I am not holding any grudges. I don’t see the point. Holding a grudge usually weighs more on the person carrying it than on the one it is directed at. Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting or excusing, it just means freeing yourself from the constant drag of resentment.

“
Exactly! Holding a grudge only burdens yourself. Forgiving without forgetting is the healthiest way to move forward.

Thank you! It’s not good for your own mental health to hold onto a grudge but I know it’s not always easy.

You are lucky. I am not that strong. Sadly, the grudge i have still impact my life a little bit.

Ah you say that, but do you learn from your mistakes? It’s all well and good saying you wouldn’t hold a grudge, but it seems perfectly reasonable to change your behaviour if something bad happens. I think the two are very related.

Yes that’s true too Pete. If something bad happens, for example, with an acquaintance, I would maybe drift away from that person. I don’t think I would hold a grudge but I would choose to not be in their company.

That is a great attitude, my friend. Grudge’s just wear us down and eat at us. Best to let go and move on.
