Doors of WordPress V71 – Christmas special 🎅🏽

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to a festive week of seasonal doors. I’m glad this week Dan’s Thursday door club is suggesting we show our favourite and / or festive doors. I have a few doors that I have collected over the past couple of weeks that I think really show some festive spirit in the lead up to Christmas. As always, please let me know if you have a favourite and I look forward to seeing all your doors also.

1 – Hillsborough

2 – St Stephen’s Green

3 – Dublin

4 – Dublin

5 – Dublin

6 – Hillsborough

7 – The Joxer, Hillsborough

8 – Belfast City Centre

9 – Twigs & Twine, Hillsborough

Personally, I have saved the best until last. This shop is the local florist in Hillsborough and has the most amazing creations made from twigs and twine (funnily enough). They also have some fantastic pieces of art on sale and manage to create spectacular window displays depending on the occasion. I think they have succeeded with their Christmas decorations and it looks even more stunning at night time.

I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the lead up to the festive season.

  1. They all look great but for sheer lovelyness of the wreath I pick number 1. Caught my eye right away. Going to put up Christmas tree to night. Enjoy your holidays all.

  2. The wreath on that first door is what I would buy for my door instantly. All the doors are cool and bring out that Christmas-sy vibe. The last one is spectacular but you mentioned they are local florist so I assume they have to be professionals.

      1. It’s a sort of marketing idea on a subconscious level. I mean the moment you look at the decor you want to take a look at the store. This increases the foot traffic at least. Sales is a different game altogether.

  3. I was about to say how hard a choice you gave us, Wayne until the last door. I was leaning toward 2 – St Stephen’s Green, which is lovely, but Twigs & Twine, with the dressed up Irish Setter portrait has to be my favorite. We had those dogs for 40 years, and we miss them all. Our first one liked being dressed up. I think she could have posed for that.
