Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. Here in Northern Ireland it is absolutely lashing with rain as we experience the wrath of storm Babet. It is dark, wet and gloomy here, therefore, I am showing you some of my remaining doors from Dijon, France so I can look back fondly to warmer times. As always, please do let me know if you have a favourite.

Number five is my favourite this week due to its unique colour and I absolutely love the grills where the windows once were. I’m not sure why I even like them so much and I don’t know why they are there, I suppose maybe for security or ventilation. It also looks extremely rustic and quaint, my favourite qualities of a door!
Enjoy the rest of your week everyone,
Wayne ✌🏽
Lovely theme going on here. I love old doors. Thank you

Excellent selection of doors. I like the formal look to number two. The grill atop number five is unique and stylish… lovely!

I love them all, Wayne, but I’ve got to go with #2 as my fave. Maybe because of the color and the designs around it. Could be I’m fascinated by it because it is a designated historic place. I always enjoy your Thursday doors.

Well, they all have appeal but i will go for #2 simply because of the whole doorway with
the arch and the structure around the door, plus the design on the wood is interesting.
We are enjoying Fall weather with rain off and on and I don’t mind a dreary day here and there. I like the look and feel of it a lot of times. To you sun babies may it return for you 🙂

Haha thank you. I don’t mind the rain or cold at times either in fairness. Thanks for your comment, great choice and I agree with your thoughts about the doorway 😃

I read about that storm. Stay safe! My favorite door is the last one. I have no idea why really, but perhaps it is because of the color, as that green color is a favorite of mine.

I hope things have dried a bit. Those prolonged storms do make it hard to get around. I like this collection, Wayne. I think I’m going with number four. I like that it’s a slight corner door – at least it seems so. I hope you have a nice weekend.

Cheers Dan! I think the storm is due to pass this evening all being well. Good choice. I love that door too and it is indeed a corner door, they’re the best!
