Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. I recently shared a blog post of Athlone, Ireland and if you happened to check it out, you would have seen what a quirky and quaint little town it was. This week I want to show you a few of my favourite doors spotted in this amazing town. Please let me know if you have a favourite.

This week I’m torn between two doors. I love numbers 3 and 5 but I will go with number 3 as I really admire a corner door and the little hood over the frame is really quirky and reminds me of somewhere in Italy or France? Does anyone else agree or is it just me??

No 6 is astonishing! That wall colour with the door is perfection.

Number 3 certainly does look like a European door. My favorite is #4, the red door with flowers. It makes me smile!

You always photograph the most interesting doors. My favorite is Rachyl’s Hairstudio, but they’re all beautiful.

Some outstanding doors here. The first pink one looks like it is floating – strange that there is no step.

Thanks very much! I had a good look there and there is indeed a step, it’s the same colour as the wall but is difficult to see. I thought it was floating also haha.

I love 1 and 7 for the colors! They are all beautiful though.

They all have such opposing colors of walls and doors but I am taken by the shape of #2 and the beautiful shade of blue. It looks so tall and the transom looks covered but Iwould be curious to see behind it.

They’re very good points you have made, the opposing colours definitely makes the doors pop and I didn’t even notice the transom was covered. Thanks for sharing 😊

These are great doors, Wayne. I’m with you on number three as a favorite. I like corner doors and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one on a hill. That’s an interesting feature.
