Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?
I find it very difficult to have a lazy day. As much as I know rest is important, I usually end up feeling unproductive instead. There are always so many things I want to do or get done that I can’t quite switch off.
Unless I am really sick, I don’t know how to be lazy. In fact, I can’t even remember the last time I was bored at home, there is always something to plan, clean, watch, play, create. Maybe that’s just how I’m wired.
Also being from Northern Ireland, where we don’t have much sunlight, as soon as the sun comes out, we feel that we have to be out doing something outdoors.

rest is as important to our health as workouts.

I totally agree, just wish I could do it.

I’m the same way. I feel guilty to lounge around when there’s so much other stuff I could be doing. There’s always things to do around the house. I find it helps to go away somewhere to help unwind and relax.

It’s new to me hearing northern Ireland receives few sunlight. Enjoy those days, Wayne

Oh oh summer is extremely short and the rest of the year is grey and wet so we really make the most of seeing sunshine. When we have sunshine, it is the best place in the world. Thanks Hazel.

It’s sort of funny because I often think how nice it would be to have a day to do nothing, just be lazy. But I feel that I need to have something to do: a chore, a project, an errand. Too much energy, I guess. 🙂

Haha I can totally relate. I would to just be able to sit and watch a movie or something, maybe one day! I want to seize the day and get things done.
