Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. I am currently travelling around Western Australia, having just left Scarborough and heading now to Fremantle, all not too far from Perth. I have spotted some cracking doors so far but will keep them for when I’m creating my WA blog posts. This week my doors are from my last Aussie adventures when we travelled to the German village of Hahndorf, near Adelaide. As always please let me know if you have a favourite.

I love the message beside number 3 – “Do more of what you love” – abso-freaking-lutely! However, number 4 is my favourite this week, it has that old school rustic charm and it looks very worn and weather beaten, lots of stories if it could speak.
I like open doors too – and safe travels

Though I favor open doors, and #2 is a great example, I vote #5 because I like the sharp contrasts. Black can be such a dismal color, but it can also make other colors (and textures) show off.

Great gallery, Wayne and wonderful photos. I always like seeing a bit of the surrounding landscape with doors. I love number 2 it is an inviting door with the softness of the plant outside and the lines on the carpet reflecting the woodwork of the door’s shape.

Thanks Suzette! I love how you described number 2 perfectly and I totally agree with you, I also love seeing the surroundings of a door.

I find 2 door to be airy and welcoming and rather interesting.

Lots of good ones, and I favor # 2 because the door is open and invites a person in to see what’s inside. I see cloth covered tables, so is this a pub? But then Heritage Room makes me think museum? Did you go inside? 🙂

I love that door too. Yes we did go in. You’re right, it was a pub, however, it was really overpriced being a tourist hotspot, so we didn’t stay.

The green door is my favorite, mainly because it’s so bright and cheerful. Great selection, mate!

These are great doors, Wayne. I’m going to go with number 2, but it was a hard choice. That scene looks so welcoming, but I love that message on number 3 and the weathered door in number 4. You made it hard to choose. The last door is also in the running, a very handsome entrance. I hope you continue to enjoy your trip.
