What is a word you feel that too many people use?
I have covered this word before on my Wayne’s Word series but it is an ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE in Northern Ireland and one that is extremely overused. Have you heard people using this word?

Growing up my dad used it often. I heard him ask my mother, for a wee bit of tea when she would go to the kitchen. Or a wee bit of coffee. I haven’t heardn’t the expression in a long while. It was usually used in a wee bit of humor in his delivery.

Oh wow it must depend on the region perhaps as some Canadians have said they have heard it.

It’s rare to hear it here in North Florida. Probably not enough of an Irish influence in the area. 🙂

It’s definitely overused in particular regions but not here in Canada where it’s actually a bit more original. 😊
