Happy Thursday and welcome to another week of doors. This week I am showcasing my remaining doors from Redfern, Sydney, when I visited there two weeks ago. I feel like there are a lot more doors to discover here so I will definitely have to return one day soon.
As always, please let me know if you have a favourite door this week.

Number three is a security door but I love its design and the cat being on guard just adds to the image. I love the aesthetic of number four, the whole design of the house is exquisite. There’s a lot happening from the tiled flooring, the colours and the bench outside that would be perfect for people watching on. I really love it but my favourite door this week is number five. The colour looks very regal, simple yet effective. I love even the leaves at the porch, reminding us that autumn has arrived in the southern hemisphere.
Have a great end to your week everyone.
Wayne
I like door one and door four. They have a lot of personality.

These are all lovely but like you I enjoyed the aesthetic of the fourth one the most. It’s so colourful and inviting.

I really like the wood doors. But the first one is my favorite. Love the hardware on that too.

Hi, Wayne. So, if #3 is a security door, then I guess it’s from the same building as #4? I was wondering because of the arch decorations. Both are wonderful. Kitty at the door caught my attention too. #1 tickles my imagination, but… Darn. I can’t choose between 3 and 4. LOL. Hugs.

Thanks Teagan. No the security door is from another building. It just sits in front of the door, if you look closely you can even see the door.

I am drawn to door number five, Wayne. The great shade of green contrasted with the other colors…And an overall refined feel to the entrance.
Of course I cannot fail to mention the absolute cute cat at the door ‘standing guard” at number three.
Great photos!

Thanks Suzette! Refined is a great word to describe this door too. Thank you. That cat is either standing guard or having a good nose with what’s going on…or both haha.

You are very welcome Wayne.
As to the cat…Probably both, Wayne. Cat’s seem to have their own sense of “purpose”…Lol.

I concur, door #5 is my favorite. It is sleek in color and size and a pretty entrance to the white building where it resides.

Hard to choose they’re all interesting for different reasons. Of course a cat always wins 🙂

Haha and I’m not a cat lover but it sets the picture off I think. Thanks Jean.

I’m not sure I can choose a favorite, Wayne. I like that first door. Rugged and worn. It looks like it has served a long time. I love seeing the cat, and the fourth door/house is amazing. I really like how the oversized door and window trim mimics the metal details on the roof. They match too well to seem to be an accident.

Oh absolutely, they match well. I really like it but part of me thinks maybe too much…

Really like door 2, but 3 is great because of the cat 😺.

I can’t make up my mind between the last two doors, the red and the green, both are splendid
