Happy Thursday everyone and a happy new year to you all. I cannot believe it’s the ninth of January 2025 already! I’ll be honest, I was excited to start the year with the Bloganuary challenge, where you receive a daily prompt to blog for every day in January. Sadly, without any notification, there was no challenge this year from WordPress. I was really looking forward to starting the year on a blogging high but I think the opposite has happened. This will change I’m sure and I’m happy to have Thursday Doors to keep my motivation alive.
I thought this week I would show the last three festive doors that I have in my collection, spotted over the holiday season. Let me know if you have a favourite and I look forward to seeing other doors posts this week.

The last door is my absolute favourite and I look forward to showing the whole building in my next blog post.
All the best,
Wayne
Well, I definitely agree, the last pic. is magnificent. I do want to see the whole building when you have time to post it. Love the Red tinsel on the door but especially love the bottom decorations of the two large columns.
A Happy New year to you and all.

Hi Wayne! Happy New year and all the very best to you in 2025. The third one is a beautiful symmetry about it. I like it. Have a good one!
P.S. WordPress daily prompts are still on-going. I can see them in my dashboard.

Thanks Suzette! Yes I see the daily prompts but normally in January they provide better ones. Maybe they stopped as we have the daily prompts.

Happy New Year. Yes we were all disappointed but there are still some of us that are doing a daily challenge and calling it Bloganuary. I call mine Bloganuaryish. Some of us are adding Bloganuary as a hash tag so we don’t lose contact. I have done a combo of the daily prompts, ideas from other Bloganuary people, or just me. Good to come across your post. Hope you guys are well. Enjoy seeing you are still doing the doors.

2 door looks funny but 3 is the best. I think there is still daily prompt on WP.

Thanks Tanja. I have asked many others and no one can find it, who knows. There are some unofficial ones I think also. Yes there are daily prompts but I think I have done a lot of them and they feel kind of recycled to me.

Welcome back, Wayne! I was sure I’d be choosing number two as my favorite, until I saw that third door. That’s a winner.
If you’re looking for a reason to blog more, you can still join Linda Hill’s Just-Jot-It-January. You can backfill your entities, and they can be short. Don’t be shy (Shy is today’s prompt word ;-). The list for the first half of January is here.
