If you could un-invent something, what would it be?
PLASTIC! I know it has its many uses and has been a great commodity for humans but it is destroying the planet. When I see and hear of animals being trapped in plastic or eating it, it just breaks your heart. The amount of water and environmental pollution from plastics is horrendous. It doesn’t break down so it’s taking up space in landfill and now it’s causing microplastics that we can also be consuming from animals / water etc.
Let’s go back to simpler times. Anyone remember when milk would be delivered in glass bottles from the milkman? Does that still exist I wonder? I’m glad we are making some changes like reusing carrier bags and making use of reusable bottles / bags etc. I just hope it’s not too late.

I’m totally against plastic but there’s also the problem as the majority of the human race live like pigs discarding crap everywhere and that includes our supposedly civilised western world

Yes that’s very true sadly.

Totally agree! Plastic has to go!!!
I love the new idea of laundry detergent sheets, much like dryer softener sheets rather than those large plastic jugs. They are concentrating products like mouthwash which can now come in small containers and then you add the extra water as you use it.
I use a CPAP machine. They have several plastic hoses and nose pieces that have to be replaced. It is so disturbing when I have to toss them occasionally.

Also saw somewhere recently that micro plastics, I think they call them are being found in drinking water in bottled water as well.
