In what ways do you communicate online?
Communicate online? So that rules out talking on the telephone, in person, sending text messages etc.
I have just woken up and having my morning coffee, thinking about how I communicate online. Here are my thoughts:
– social media apps such as Facebook & Instagram
– WhatsApp (I think that’s online). I use this for sending messages to friends and family over the internet as it is free. It’s very handy for living in a different country.
– Oh and I almost forgot about here on my blog! This is a very enjoyable method of communicating.
I think that’s my lot. I don’t play games with others online and I don’t participate in chat rooms any more, actually do they still exist?
What about you? How do you communicate online?
Have a great Sunday everyone. I’m looking forward to recharging today.
Wayne
Same as you, Wayne – although in the last few years I’m finding people in my life prefer texts to calls.
Omg chat rooms!!! That takes me back! I wonder the same as you – do they still exist?

I basically use email as I got rid of most of my accounts on other places like Facebook and Twitter. I do talk with a friend once ina while in Brazil with skype.
I don’t have many people to email once in a while I get a note from a penpal site
and thats about it. Small circle of friends.

Hi Wayne
Yeah I think text messages count as online. Online communication is great for introverts like me, and I guess during covid times/lockdowns really kept us a bit saner…but then again also makes it too easy not to actually communicate (more than emojis ha ha) and meet up.

Very true! Covid definitely made us communicate more online, especially when some of us had to work online.

Good day, Mate ( aka Wayne)
I would include text and messaging. I have also, rarely, used Skype. Not a great fan of it. Same as Face Talk. Don’t really need to see the person. Do like exchanging photos though.

Haha yes we don’t always need to see the person. I use Skype only when dealing with businesses in another country.
