Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another week of wonderful doors. Following on from my Beaune blog post, I thought it would be appropriate to show case my remaining doors from my trip to Beaune. As always, please let me know if you have a favourite this week.

I really like doors 1 and 5, however, personally I saved the best to last. Number 6 has a real unique and quite a regal appearance. The deep wood of the door and it’s wonderful design. I love the transom window and also the arch that surrounds the door. I’m not sure if there is a name for that? Also the greenery surrounding the door really makes it stand out. What do you think?

My favourite is the green one in pic #1. Green doors will always catch my eye, even the ones that are not very pretty.

I like them all. #5 looks like it has a face and I like the variety of doors, windows, et al in the first two. I agree, though, that #6 is quite handsome.
Just to let you know, I’m back from Wyoming and have been posting photos. I know you mentioned you were interested to see Wyoming and the trip up had some great scenery as well.

Beautiful selections, Wayne! Number four is my favorite because the bottom of it is so worn. It makes me wonder how many toes have kicked it open and how many little paws might have scratched it.

I like # 6 best. I don’t know what’s behind it, but I want to imagine a secret garden. 🙂

These are wonderful, Wayne. I’m sticking with number one as my favorite, although number six is interesting. I like those curves, and I love the hardware. But that big window above the first door is amazing.

Thanks Dan! That window is pretty cool albeit a bit spooky.

Imagine walking up to the door, seeing a shadowy figure in that window when you know no one is home.
Maybe you should set this aside for next year’s writing challenge 😉

I think that would give me goose bumps even writing about it 😂

A superb collection of really unusual doors, just the stuff for Thursday Doors. I love that first pair though, especially the one on the left.
