I am touched and honored you shared this post. It was painful to write and is still painful to read. Erik is doing incredibly well, but still suffers from long term effects of the attack. He and his husband are braver than I will ever be. Thanks for bringing this to the forefront, again. Happy Pride.

Happy Pride Month to one and all. Of course there should be Pride every day of the year. Respect each other. Not mistreat people who are different. So many things that humanity could work on improving.

I think there’s a site setting where we can disable comments if the post is older than so-many days. Can’t remember exactly. I remember turning it off – anyone can comment no matter how old – but it does mean I sometimes get a comment and I’m, like, “wtf are they on about?” 🙂
